Week 7

This is my video for bad singing. This guy literally had me LOL'ing! I don't think that there is anything that he is doing right. He's not actually saying the words correctly or sometimes at all. There are some parts where is he just making noises with his mouth. Also, everything that he is "singing" is coming straight from his nose. It all sounds super nasally and ridiculous.

Ok, so the quality of this video is terrible, but this girl can sing! She is singing in rhythm with the song and is staying on the beat. All of her notes are on key and in the right pitch. She is not singing from her throat, you can tell that she is pushing the notes up from her diaphragm. Her breathing is not rushed or short, and her voice sounds beautiful.

Week 6

Assessment of Week 5 Video Blog

 

 

Well, the last couple have weeks have been pretty rough. We had a house fire a couple of weeks ago and I have been trying to get everything back in order and get some kind of routine going again. My computer was lost in the fire so I have had to use other peoples things and some are just not working out for me. I hope that the video even posted. I can look at it from the computer that I am on, but it also showed it to me last and I just realized that there was no video when I looked at it from other computers. Hopefully this one works and I can continue to use this until our insurance money comes in and I can buy a new one. Thank you everyone for being so patient with me.

 

 

As for the video I just posted, when I went back to look at it, I realized that it is hard for me to keep and beat and talk at the same time. I need to work on that and get that figured out. Also, I need to pronounce my words better. I sounded like I was speaking very fast and running all of my words together. I feel like those are the two biggest things that I need to work on. I feel like I recited the poem well, and I hope I used Ti-Ti and Ta the right way!
